you play as a resident in the virtual reality city, Cyberopolis, where the citizens have their consciousness plugged into a computer simulated reality

only problem is, there are viruses preventing you from ever leaving
not all hope is lost thanks to the power obtained through extreme hacking prowess known as the 'level editor'

The gimmick here is that you have access to a real time level editor that lets you place walls/springs/mines/enemies to help you counter enemies and make your way through the procedural generated levels

Controls (also explained in the tutorial):
arrows=move
x=jump/place tile
c=switch item
hold z=open level editor
press down in air=dive attack

S=toggle silhouette mode
D=toggle square mode
