A downloadable game for Windows
set in the distant future, you crash land on earth which seems to be populated by hostile monsters
the aiming originally worked like in asteroids but here is a mouse and keyboard version if you don't like that:

there are a lot of unfinished sprites (life really got in the way) but there's quite a bit of game play

How do you destroy the blocks with Xs on them?
did you get the double jump? it drops after the dialogue at Apollo's (and despawns which probably needs to be fixed)
once you've got the double jump you can access the area on the right side of the map which has the upgrade that destroys the X blocks just by shooting them
That was fun. Thanks. I'd love to see a completed version.
Metroidvania games are fun. I'll give it a try.
